Smoking???

Well… I’m addicted to smoking. Many have advised me against it. I’m not the type who listens to people without proper reason. This will be the usual conversation with my well wishers.

Well wisher: Why don’t you stop smoking?
I: Give me a single reason why I should stop smoking?
Well wisher: Because it hurts you and you will die eventually.
I: Everyone die in this world. Many people are involved in more dangerous professions. They are not bothered about their life.
Well wisher: Don’t you think you pollute the environment?
I: Come on, give me a break.
Well wisher: What do you get in smoking?
I: I don’t know. What do you get in talking to friends? What do you get in sitting alone when you are down? There are things which you can never explain.

And I have been successful so far. Believe me, I have had break ups because of this. But I have been thinking about it for a while now. Instead of asking myself “Why should I stop smoking?” I asked myself “Why should I continue smoking?”

- Because I’m used to it. Well, not a strong reason. You get used to people and one day they are not going to be with you. I’m not going to die the next day because of that.
- Because it gives me nice company when I’m alone. Well, why not try coffee instead of cigarette?
- Because it relaxes me when I’m tensed. Ha ha… don’t tell me that you are going to smoke when you are having sex for the first time ;)

Let me give a try. With this I’m throwing off this sexy brown bud and blowing off the last grey curly smoke out. Will this my last? Let’s see. I will keep you guys posted about this.

To all those who smoke,
Ask yourself “Why should you?” instead of “Why shouldn’t you?”

man, smokers donot know to justify the reason y they smoke, but somehow defend it citing some stupid reasons or indulging in useless arguments. You are no different. I can't really agree with you on this, but your literal standard is good.

Keep up the good work
